Area Excursions

Anantara Mui Ne offers an experience beyond those of other Mui Ne hotels, letting you soak up the colourful local culture, take part in exciting excursions and truly discover the region’s breathtaking natural beauty. Each day, Anantara features a range of excursions that let you see beyond the boundaries of the hotel. Among the many Vietnam excursions, Anantara Mui Ne is considered as one of the best organizers of area tours that capture the true essence of the country.

Mui Ne Sand Dunes

One of Mui Ne’s most famous attractions, the immense Mui Ne Sand Dunes stretch to the horizon in white, gold and red. You’ll be forgiven for thinking you are in the Sahara rather than a coastal resort in Vietnam after spending the day exploring this impressive natural wonder.

Lotus Lake

Bau Trang, otherwise known as Lotus Lake, is an oasis within the White Sand Dunes of Mui Ne. Take a day trip to this series of three lakes defined by exquisite natural beauty and blooming lotus flowers.

Fishing Village

Explore the picturesque village of Mui Ne with colourful fishing boats moored just off the coast and the historic streets alive with the activities of daily life.

Fishing Port

On a trip to the Mui Ne fishing port, watch the daily vendors hawk the freshest catch and sample home cooked treats from the local vendors.

Phan Thiet Water Tower

Completed in 1934 by Prince Suphanouvong of Laos, the Phan Thiet Water Tower was the first main supply of water for the region and is one of the area’s most famous symbols.

Cham Tower (Poshanu)

Built in the 8th century, the tower of Poshanu near Phan Thiet may be the oldest Cham buildings in existence. A visit to the tower promises a glimpse into one of the oldest communities in the region.

Phan Thiet City

The capital of Binh Thuan province, this thriving Vietnamese city filled with shopping, sites and some of the best seafood in the region makes for a lively day trip from Mui Ne.

Ta Ku Mountain

Located an hour from Mui Ne, Ta Ku Mountain is one of the area’s must-see destinations. Hike up the mountain admiring rainforests on every side, or take the gondola to catch a glimpse of exotic birds and wildlife.

Ke Ga Lighthouse

Built by the French in 1897, the Ke Ga Lighthouse perches majestically on a rocky island set off from the white sand dunes of the mainland.

Sea Links Golf and Country Club

Conveniently located, this beautiful 18-hole 72 par golf course slopes down to the Mui Ne Bay. Set 80 metres above sea level, the course is described as one of the most challenging links-style golf courses in all of Asia.

Ocean Dunes Golf Club

Tee off against a backdrop of windswept sand dunes and blue skies on this much lauded course named one of the “Best 500 Holes in the World” by Golf Magazine (USA). After a day on the green, stroll through nearby Phan Thiet, a traditional Vietnamese fishing village, and surrender to its historic charms.
